While in Brisbane last week we again made the trek to the excellent University of Queensland Art Museum; this time to see the touring survey show by Claire Healy and Sean Cordeiro.  The exhibition did not disappoint, indeed all who were present seemed to experience a 'warm fuzzy art moment' - that wonderful feeling that occasionally arises when one is exposed to art that is conceptually and aesthetically engaging in equal parts.

Dante was delighted and intrigued, breaking into spontaneous applause in response to the work Future Remnant 2011. the art of collaboration II ...

'The lightning spark of thought generated in the solitary mind awakens its likeness in another mind.'

[Thomas Carlyle]

Loving the calligraphic mark-making Ms Dante made with her trusty green texta this morning; 'embellishing' a print of one of my drawings from 2003.  A beautiful [somewhat unintentional] collaboration... Gold!
