falling in love all over again...

ok ok, i know with my background in photography and photoshop i should not be picking up the latest iPhone and ogling over an app like Hipstamatic - but i am! - my poor Argoflex [see previous post] has not had a look in since.

I actually find the Hipstamatic in a lovely way to feel a little analogue - in that you have to make your creative decisions prior to taking your photographic image, rather than Photoshopping after the fact from a master image with limitless opportunities.  The decisions you make prior to shooting mean that you limit your ability to manipulate your image afterwards. This to me is a more exciting way to work... and then there is the square format - which i have always had a soft spot for -  falling in love all over again...

and did i mention that I also find this the dream 'camera' due to the fact that it can be held and operated with one hand [while a certain twelve month old can be juggled with the other]... gold!
