Magma intrusion. 
Upwelling liquids take
form; hidden from view.







II.
Quartz, feldspars, micas,
slowly cooling, crystallised. 
Rock solidified.







III.
Erosion reveals.
That which lies beneath, is now
bare, exposed to view.








IV.
Decomposition;
expansion cracks and fractures. 
Rounded boulders rest. 






V.
Exfoliation; 
flakes of rock slough off the surface  
like onion skin.






VI.
This be tor country,
limited fertility.
More of death, than birth.






VII.
Forms, once revealed, soon
commence breaking down. Carried
by the wind; grains of sand.
